Top 10 Nail Polishes

I like to have lots of different brands and colours in my nail polish collection and thought it would be nice to share my favourite 10 with you hehe.

So the first is my Revlon in 'Cherries in the Snow'. I LOOOOOOVE this. In my opinion, it can brighten up and go with any outfit. I love the brush because it is very precise. I love that with this nail polish you only have to apply one coat, it is sooooooo pigmented. It also drys so quick. I'm in loooooove hehe. Everyone should definitely try the Revlon nail polishes they're lovely!

One coat

My next nail polish is my FAVOURITE nail polish in the world! Yep, No7's fox glove. I think I raved about this enough in my last haul post for you to know how much I love this nail polish. It is sooooooo pretty. I love the brush, rich colour, pigmentation, glossy shine finish, lasting power, EVERYTHING!. If you haven't tried the No7 nail polishes, you have to give them a go, they're everything a nail polish should be! In the picture below it looks abit more pink than it actually is, I don't know why. But with two coats it is the same colour as it is in the bottle! I love that because sometimes you buy a nail polish and it looks nothing like it does in the bottle! It also drys super quick!

Two coats

The next nail polish is a China glaze. This colour is in 'Skate Night'. It looks abit  two-tone, like pinky purple-gold. I don't know if that's just me, but it's beautiful. It's one of those colours that you can where at anytime, so I love that! China glaze has to be one of my favourite brands for nail polish because the pigment is fabulous, and they stay on forever, love love love!

Two coats

The next one is the beautiful red nail polish in my last NOTD post. It's a beautiful shiny and shimmery true red. It is an OPI in Danke-shiny Red. You only need one coat and in my opinion, you can where this colour with nearly anything! LOVE IT!

One coat

The next nail polish is one included in my last haul post. It's a beautiful mint green by Essie called 'Mint Candy Apple'. I love it! It needs two coats to be fully opaque. It's so beautiful and I can't wait to wear it in the spring-summer!

Two coats

The next nail polish is a glitter nail polish from China glaze in 'Fairy dust'. I put a picture below with it over No7 Fox glove. I put the camera on flash when I took it because you can see the amount of glitter it applies with one coat.

One coat

The next nail polishes are minis from OPI 'The Bondettes' 007 mini nail lacquers set. I don't know if that made sense but you get what I mean hehe. I will be showing all of the minis I got in this set because they are all some of my favourite nail polishes and I love them all.

Two coats

This mini is a beautiful red with gold sparkles in it. With one coat it shows up quite pinky but when you add another it is red. I don't know why! Hehe, I wore this after Christmas when everything was still christmassy, if that makes sense. It's such a beautiful and festive colour! I LOOOOOVE it! I will definitely be wearing this around Christmas 2013!

One coat

This one is a beautiful VERY dark ocean green I'd say. This is SO shimmery and sparkly and glittery, wow. I don't know if you can see on my nails very well or in the bottle but this nail polish is full of shimmers of silver. It's so nice I LOVE IT! This colour is called 'Live and Let Die'.

Two coats

This beautiful silver with shimmers of different colours is called 'The World Is Not Enough'. You can wear this colour with ANYTHING. It has probably any colour you could think of, in shimmers. I love this soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much, I cannot explain. I will definitely re-purchase the full size bottle, LOVE IT.

Two coats

This is a beautiful gold glitter called 'GoldenEye'. You could use this beauty as a topcoat with one coat or on its own like in the picture above, with two coats. How ever you want! It is so pretty and looks gorgeous in the light because it sparkles and ooooooh its a beauty!

Thanks for reading and I hope you're having a wonderful day xxx

NOTD: Shiny shimmery red!

Recently I got a beautiful OPI nail polish in Danke-shiny Red from their germany collection. It's a beautiful shiny and shimmery red. I loooooooove it! I just decided to try it out and I don't think I'll be taking it off anytime soon!

I'm going to be doing a top 10 nail polishes post soon, so there will be more of my thoughts about OPI and this nail polish on there :)

Thanks for reading, hope you have a wonderful day!xx

Haul! Chanel, Boots, MAC, LUSH, and Topshop!

Hello lovelies, sorry I haven't been posting for ages, I've been super duper busy over Christmas! Anyway, onto the haul! With my Christmas money and a few gift cards I decided it was time for another trip to the shopping centres. I went straight to boots (obviously) and picked up a few things that I've had my eye on for a while.

I went to the Chanel counter first, and I picked up one of their ILLUSION D'OMBRE Long Wear Luminous Eye shadows in 82 Emerveille. I LOVE THIS. It's a cream eyeshadow and makes a beautiful base colour and it's just beautiful how ever you use it! It's a peachy shimmery colour. It also comes with a retractable eyeliner brush which is very handy. It also gives little instructions on the inside of the box which are helpful too!

Sorry for all the pictures I got a bit carried away!

The only downside to this, is the price being £23, which is quite high for an eyeshadow, but lets be honest, it is Chanel. I think it is 100% worth the price! It is super blendable, pigmented and goes on smoothly and beautifully and it is just beautiful and I love it ALOT!

The next product I bought was Soap and Glory's Hand Maid Antibacterial Hand Cleansing Gel. I use this all the time, especially before and during doing my make up. You only need a pea size which is great as you don't need to use as much product.

I love the smell (obviously it's Soap and Glory!) It smells so refreshing and just beautiful, classic Soap and Glory! I love it, it does it's job brilliantly! The price for this is £2.50 which I think is amazing for the quality and smell!

I was wondering around the drugstore/high street make up section and came across beautiful Revlon. I love their lip products, and I wanted to try their  Colour Burst Lip Butters after hearing mixed reviews about them. Because I am one for bright pinks and not neutral colours for the lips, I went straight for a beautiful colour called 'Sweet Tart'

It is a beauty! They are quite sheer but very buildable. They are very moisturising so I like to wear this for school or on lazy days when I'm not going out. They last well, I can't say much more because I haven't tried it out too much since I only bought it a few days ago. They are priced at £5 in boots at the moment (they were originally £7.99).

After seeing some good reviews on the Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Concealer, I decided to pick it up! I heard someone saying that it is BETTER than YSL Touche Eclat Radiant Touch Highlighting Pen! Which is amazing! It is great for concealing and highlighting which is fabulous.

It has a brush tip applicator, which I don't mind, as long as it does the job, which it does! I like to use this under my eyes, and sometimes on my nose and cheekbones for abit of highlighting. It costs £6.99 which is amazing for the quality and for the fact that it does two jobs!

I wanted to get a BB cream for days when I want make up on, but not alot, like for school or lazy days. I was looking at the Rimmel BB Cream 9 in 1 Make up. It claims to: Prime, Moisturise, Minimise Pores, Conceal, Cover, Smooth, Mattifie, Brighten and help Protect. Which sounded great, for only £4.99 in boots! (it was originally £6.99)

It has a SPF of 25, so I can't wait to try this in the summer! It does all 9 things it claims to which makes me a very happy girl! The only downside to this is that the only shades I could see was light and medium, so they could think about adding a few more shades.

I picked up some Simple Kind to Skin Cleansing Facial Wipes, because I ran out. OOOOO how interesting.

They are now super duper soft! They are great and are either £1.25 or £3.25 I'm not sure because there is two different types when I checked on the boots website, sorry hehe. I love these and all of you should try them because they are great value for money and do their job!

I picked up a beautiful wash bag/make up bag from Ted Baker which I LOOOVE. It was only £10 which I think is great! It is clear and has pretty birds on it.

I wanted one that I could wipe makeup off easily and see through ones are great because you don't have to fuss around to find what you want or tip everything out!

Now, moving onto nails, yay! I picked up my favourite nail polish on alllllllllllll time which is No7's Fox Glove because I was running dangerously low on my other one! The price for these have suddenly gone down to only £6! I'm sure they were more expensive before. They all contain 10ml each and I love them!

The thing that I love (probably the most) about the No7 nail polishes is the brush. I know I may sound weird, I do love the pigmentation and quick dryingness and the glossy shine finish. But (on my nails) I just need to use one stroke and it covers the WHOLE nail! I don't know, am I the only one? Everyone should have one of these nail polishes I just adore them!

The next nail polish I got was an Essie one in Mint Candy Apple. I only have 2 Essie now, and I certainly need more! I love them, They are just beautiful.

I was looking for the perfect mint green and I think I have finally found it! I haven't tried it yet but I will update you soon when I do 'My Top 10 Nail Polishes' which will also include swatches, yay! Essie nail polishes cost £7.99 each for 13.5ml, which I think is good for the quality! Can I just say, some of the swatches for Essie nail polishes on the boots website don't look like they do much in real life, just saying hehe.

When I left boots I went to MAC. I needed to pick up a 217 Blending brush, because I haven't got one and had been wanting one for ages.

This brush blends like a dreeeeeeeeam! I haven't tried using it to apply eyeshadow or anything, so I don't know if its good at that, but I have heard that it's great for that too! They cost £17 each which is abit pricey but definitely worth it!

I popped into LUSH, because I can't not! I tried two of their lip scrubs, Bubble Gum and Mint Julips. I went for Mint Julips.

It tastes like mint chocolate ice cream, which I love! Bubble gum just tasted sweet and I wanted want that tasted abit more fresh! When I use this, I scrub it on my lips for about 5-10 seconds with a little finger dipped amount, then lick it all off! Not only does it taste amazing, but it leaves your lips so soft like you wouldn't believe! They cost £5.25 each, totally worth it! They contain 25g which will last you for agessssss! LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this!!!!!

Lastly, I went into Top shop, and bought, yes, another lipstick! I'm obsessed! This shade is a beautiful bright pink called 'All About Me'.

My last blog post was about Top shop lipsticks so you can read all about my thoughts about them on that post! Once again, I am more than impressed with this lipstick and I just LOVE Top shop lipsticks, I can't rave enough about them hehe!

Thanks for reading and I hope you're having a wonderful day xx

Topshop Lipsticks Review

For my first blog post I wanted to write about something I absolutely love, and I absolutely love Topshop lipsticks, a lot. The main reason is because they nourish my lips and go on so smoothly. The range of colours is also beautiful and there is always new collections coming out. I love the packaging it's super cute and strong too, it does mark quite easily but not to bad, so you can just throw it in your handbag for on the go! The price for their quality and pigment is basically, A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! They are £7-£10 each and I only have to apply them maybe 2 or 3 times throughout the day! Overall, the staying power, price, packaging, quality, pigment and finish in these lipsticks is fabulous.

I have 3 and I love them all. The first one I bought was a beautiful orange one called Infrared. Some of you may be thinking 'WOOOOAH brave' but it actually isn't in-your-face. I swatched it below.

The second one is a beautiful bright pink called Brighton Rock. It's the perfect pink which can automatically jazz up a look. It goes so nice with anything really! I swatched it below.

This beautiful iced lilac colour is called Innocent. It may look really purple and honestly I didn't pick it myself. I got it free when I ordered Brighton Rock on their website using a promotional code. When they reached 3 million likes on Facebook on all orders they threw in this beautiful lipstick free so I thought "hey, why not!" and went ahead and bought my Brighton Rock which came with this little baby. As I said, I wouldn't have thought of choosing it for myself, but it is one of my favourite lipsticks. I swatched it below.

Sorry this swatch is abit blurred but when I took this my cameras battery ran out so I just had to use this photo!

I love everything about these lipsticks and would definitely reccomend them to ANYONE!
Thanks for reading and I hope you're having a wonderful day xx
